The 110th Annual Illinois State Checker Tournament pits players against each other at the center court of the Illinois Star Centre Mall. The American Checker Federation requires a membership for all participants at the ACF sanctioned tournaments. There will be four rounds played on Saturday and three rounds on Sunday. This is a 3-move restriction with pairing by a modified Swiss system.

Beginning April 9, the Galena & U.S. Grant Museum have events planned throughout the month to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Gen. Robert E. Lee’s surrender to Gen. U. S.
