Annual Ribfest

Annual event starts at 9 a.m. with rib-cookers firing up the grills and Tour de Donut bicycle racers riding through the main street. Ribfest is 50+/- rib cook-off that is full of fun, music and food. Findlay Walleye Festival

Walleye is a feature for the festival with the fish being served daily. Mill Road Thresherman’s 33rd Annual Show @ Effingham County Fairgrounds
Jul 25 – Jul 27 all-day

33rd Annual Show features tractors, implements, truck, cars, tool and engines, 25 years and older restored or un-restored are welcome. This year’s featured tractors are Minneapolis – Moline and Allis Chalmers. More than 200 tractors at the show. Model train and toy show, car sow, horse farming, Blue Grass shows, chain saw carving, saw mill, truck and tractor and antique tractor pulls, threshing and baling demonstrations, beekeeping display and a Sunday worship service.
