Ice Box Cookies

2 eggs, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup butter (Crisco), 1/2 cup regular Crisco, 1 tsp vanilla, 2 cups nuts or coconut, 3 and 1/2 cups flour, 2 scant tsp baking soda dissolved in 2 TBS boiling water, 1 tsp baking powder, pinch of salt.
Make into 2 rolls. Chill in refrigerator for 2 hours. Slice and bake at 30 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
