5 TBS Butter, 1 cup sugar, 2 eggs, 2 and 1/2 cup rice cereal, pinch of salt, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 and 1/2 cup chopped dates, 1 cup pecans.
Melt butter in skillet, add beaten eggs and sugar, add dates, stir for 10 minutes. Turn of heat. add vanilla and salt. add nuts and rice crispies. Let cool to handle and shape into strawberries. Roll in red sugar and add green stems of icing.
