Caramel Surprise Cookies
Ingredients:
1 box butter pecan cake mix
2 eggs
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 bag Werther’s chewy caramels, cut into thirds
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350*. Combine cake mix, eggs and oil. Stir until blended. Roll into 1″ balls. Wrap around caramel piece. Roll top in chopped pecans. Place pecan side up on cookie sheet, 2″ apart. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool a few minutes before removing from sheet onto rack.

These cookies are simple and quick to make. They look nice and taste delicious. The caramel center is a delicious surprise.
