Instructions
  1. Saute onion in butter for 3 minutes.
  2. Stir in flour and cook 1 minute.
  3. Slowly add chicken broth. Add asparagus pieces, cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until asparagus is tender. This can be pureed, if desired.
  4. Add cream, salt and pepper and reheat.
