Sweet Pepper Relish

Ingredients:

4 cups tomatoes, 2 cups red peppers, 1 onion, 1 cup jarred banana pepper rings, 3/4 cup vinegar from banana pepper jar, 4 Tablespoons dried onion, 2 teaspoons garlic powder, 1 Tablespoon salt, 2 Cups sugar, 1 can (6oz) tomato paste

Directions:

Chop vegetables, place in pot. Add rest of ingredients, simmer over medium heat 60 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour into sterile
Pint jars. Will keep in refrigerator for 2 weeks or process in hot water bath canner for 25
Minutes. Makes 4-5 pints.
Pour over 8oz block of cream cheese for quick
And delicious cracker spread. Delicious with eggs or on hamburgers, hot dogs & sandwiches. Or use straight out of the jar as glaze for chicken or pork.
