Maple Syrup

100% Pure Maple Syrup
Directions:
At the beginning of each year my family and I go out to harvest sap from the sugar maples of Southern Illinois. We collect for as long as the weather will allow us and then we gather with friends to boil the sap down to that delicious syrup we are all familiar with. There is no comparison to the store bought and it is used for so many things. We have a big pancake celebration at the end of the harvest and we add it to our coffee throughout the year. We always hold some back for Christmas because they make excellent gifts for family and friends. It is a lot of work but it never goes unappreciated.
