Natural Deodorant
Submitted by Sally Mathis from Corn Belt Energy Corporation
Ingredients:
1/3 cup Coconut Oil (solid)
1/4 cup Baking Soda
1/4 cup Arrowroot Powder (found in the organic section of grocery stores)
4 tablespoons Cornstarch
Optional: Essential oil (lavendar and lemon are good…just a couple of drops)
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl, scraping sides. (You may use your hands to mix.) The mixture will be soft and pliable. Place in airtight containers (small jelly jars would look festive).
To apply, take a small amount of deodorant on a small stick or fingers and use under arms.
This is a really economical way to have a natural, organic deodorant that really keeps you dry!
