Toffee Cookie Mix

Ingredients:
2/3 c. toffee chips
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. dark brown sugar
1 c. biscuit & baking mix
1/2 c. light brown sugar
1 c. biscuit & baking mix
Directions:
Layer the ingredients in the order given into a wide-mouth 1-quart canning jar. Pack each layer into place before adding the next ingredient.
Toffee Cookies
1 jar toffee cookie mix
1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
1 egg
1 t. vanilla
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a medium bowl, cream the butter, egg and vanilla. Add the toffee cookie mix and stir until well blended. Shape into 1-inch balls. Place on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
