Instructions
  1. In 4-quart Dutch oven, cook onion and garlic in butter until tender but not brown.
  2. Add water, potatoes, sausage, beans and bouillon granules. Heat to boiling.
  3. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes.
  4. Add cabbage, tomato paste and vinegar. Simmer, covered, 10 minutes more.
