Overnight French Toast Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 12 slices white bread
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 5-6 eggs
  • 1-1/2 cups milk

Instructions

  • Melt butter in 9x13-inch baking pan. Put 6 slices of bread in bottom of pan. In bowl, mix together brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle half of mixture on bread. Layer with 6 slices of bread on top. In bowl, whisk eggs and milk until well blended. Pour over bread layers. Sprinkle with remaining sugar cinnamon mixture. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 350 F and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and continue baking for 15 minutes until set.
