Ingredients
4cupschopped or sliced cooking apples
1/2teaspoonsalt
3/4cupall-purpose flour
1teaspooncinnamon
1cupsugar
1/2cupbutter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a shallow baking dish and add apples; sprinkle with salt. Mix sifted flour, cinnamon and sugar together and rub in butter until crumbly. Spread over apples and bake uncovered 45 minutes. Serve with or without cream.
