Sticky Wings

Course Appetizer, Entrée


  • 2 lb. chicken wings separated into pieces
  • Salt
  • Ground black papper
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger peeled and minced
  • 5 T. honey
  • 3 T. soy sauce
  • 1 T. garlic chili sauce
  • 1 T. cider vinegar
  • sesame seeds
  • Green onions sliced


  • In a small saucepan, combine the garlic, ginger, honey, soy sauce, garlic chili sauce and vinegar.
  • Simmer over low heat until thickened and slightly sticky.
  • Meanwhile, pat chicken wings dry. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and coat with cooking spray. Place chicken on baking sheet.
  • Broil for 12-15 minutes until browned and slightly charred. Turn over and broil for another 3-5 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and toss with sauce to coat well. Put on a serving tray and top with sesame seeds and sliced green onion. Serve immediately. Makes 4 servings.
