Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine almond flour, 1 egg, oil, cornstarch and salt, using a mixer until well combined. Dough will be very stiff.
Press by hand evenly into a greased 8x8” square pan; bake for 17 minutes.
Blend the dates in a food processor on high for about 1 minute, until paste-like.
Add the 2 eggs, maple syrup and vanilla; process on high until smooth.
Pour this filling mixture over the warm crust and evenly sprinkle with pecans, pressing them in lightly.
Bake for 30-35 minutes. Allow to cool before cutting.
