Grandma’s Chicken


  • 4 whole chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1/4 C. dry white wine or water
  • 2 C. seasoned stuffing mix crushed
  • 1/3 C. butter melted


  • Arrange breasts in a shallow greased 2-3 qt. baking dish.
  • Place 1 slice of Swiss cheese on each piece of chicken.
  • Spoon soup and wine over each.
  • Sprinkle crushed stuffing mix on top and drizzle with butter.
  • Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes or until the thickest part of the chicken is done.
