Ingredients
3sweet onionssliced
1/2poundfresh mushroomssliced
1/2poundsliced Swiss cheese
3/4loaf French bread 9 inches, sliced in half lengthwise and buttered
2small cans cream of chicken soup
3/4cupmilk
4tablespoonssoy sauce
Butter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F. Saute onions and mushrooms in 2 or 3 tablespoons of butter until onions are soft and translucent.
Place in a greased 9x13-inch pan. Top with cheese slices.
Tear bread into bite-sized pieces and place on top of cheese.
Combine soup, milk and soy sauce and pour over bread. You may have to press the bread down to make sure it is all covered with some of the soup mixture.
Bake for 35 minutes uncovered until bubbly. Serve.
