G’Ma Luck’s Raisin Delight

Ingredients

  • 3 cups brown sugar
  • 3-3/4 cups water
  • 8 tablespoons butter
  • In a separate bowl mix:
  • 1-1/2 cups sugar
  • 1-1/2 cups flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup pecans chopped
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions

  • Pour batter into a 9 x 13 baking dish then pour first mixture on top of batter. Bake 40 minutes @ 350° or until batter rises to the top and is thick. Serve in bowls topped with Cool Whip.
