Cook pasta, drain it, and set it aside.
Cook bacon and drain the grease, keeping a tablespoon of bacon drippings in the pan.
Add a tablespoon of butter to the bacon drippings, toss in chicken breast pieces and brown, about 4 to 5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
Pour the ranch dressing mix and flour over the chicken, then add the milk. Stir until it is bubbly and thick.
Add the cheese and half of the diced bacon pieces to the pan. Stir until cheese is melted, combine the sauce and pasta together, add salt and pepper to taste.
Top dish with the remaining bacon pieces.
