Egg Butter Spread

Servings 1 Cup
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Add the ingredients to a medium saucepan and beat well. Cook on medium and heat to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Once boiling, cook to “stage like cake icing,” about 1 minute. Pour into a bowl and allow to cool before serving.
- Serve with biscuits, toast or homemade bread.
