Brown Sugar Icing

Servings 2 Cups

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2-3 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Boil butter and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Add milk and bring to a boil again.
  • Remove from heat and cool.
  • Add powdered sugar until desired consistency — less for a thinner consistency, more for thicker.
  • Use on your favorite chocolate cake or as desired.

Notes

Double the recipe if you are making a layered cake.
