Ingredients
1cupall-purpose flour
1-1/2cupsmilk
2eggs
1tablespoonbuttermelted
1/4teaspoonsalt
Filling
2cupsstrawberriessliced
2tablespoonssugar
4-6ouncescream cheesesoftened
1teaspoonmilkoptional
Instructions
Prepare strawberry cream cheese filling by mixing strawberries and sugar. Mix softened cream cheese with 1 teaspoon milk until creamy. Set both aside.
In a bowl, combine flour, milk, eggs, butter and salt. Mix until blended.
Heat a lightly greased 6-inch skillet over medium heat. Spoon in 2 tablespoons of batter. Brown on one side only. Cook until top is dry, then invert on a paper towel. Repeat with remaining batter, greasing the skillet occasionally. Makes 16 to 18.
Put one or two crepes open face on each plate. Everyone can fill their own crepe however they like with strawberries and cream cheese. Set out honey, maple syrup and chocolate sauce for a choice of toppings.
