Adult Horse Camp
Interested in learning to ride but not sure if it’s really for you? Wanting to get back in the saddle or reconnect with horses again?
Learn how to approach a horse, halter, groom, tack up and the very basics of riding while ending with a relaxing trail ride through the beautiful Galena Territory. We also touch on equipment, how much horses cost, and the daily needs of the animals. Class size is small and very hands-on. This class is perfect for the hands-on parent who would like to help their children tack up, or for someone who is interested in just having a good knowledge base about horses in general. Participation is limited, so sign up early to ensure your spot!
Adult Camp is a two-day event, Aug. 23-24 and Sept. 13-14
10 a.m.-1 p.m. each day.
Includes riding must be must be 18 or older.
