Lincolns4Lincoln Read-a-Thon for Lincoln’s Birthday
The ALPLM is teaming up the Lincoln Public Library and Compass for Kids to host our first ever live “Lincolns4Lincoln Read-a-Thon and Book Drive!” To celebrate the 213th birthday of 16th president and beloved bookworm, Abraham Lincoln, join us in the ALPLM café space or online via the museum’s Facebook page or YouTube page on Saturday, February 12 to hear community leaders read favorite children’s books throughout the day. When you attend, please consider bringing a new children’s book to donate to children served by Compass for Kids. In the spirit of President Lincoln, we hope this event brings together members of our community, as we partner to inspire youth to develop a lifelong love of reading.
9am-3:30pm in-person in the museum’s cafe space and virtual on ALPLM’s Facebook and YouTube pages. The in-person story time is free — as is admission to the museum on Lincoln’s birthday!
