Hume Sesquicenntenial Extravaganze

What’s special about Hume, Illinois? This small village in Edgar County once had its own factory that produced its namesake tractor and is the birthplace of a Nobel Prize winner. It is also turning 150 years old this year. Join us for the sesquicentennial celebration that will be filled with traditional family fun and a few surprises. The party runs July 21-22 and will be highlighted by an exhibit of the town’s history. Be ready for lots of free activities including a Friday night foam party and movie as well as inflatables, a zipline and parade on Saturday. The festival is topped off with a Jonah Fish Fry on Saturday night.
