Adult Horse Camp
If you are interested in learning to ride or wanting to get back in the saddle and reconnect with horses, this Adult Camp hosted by one of Galena’s premium equine facilities – Shenandoah Riding Center, is for you!
Learn how to approach a horse, halter, groom, tack up, and the very basics of riding while ending with a relaxing trail ride through the beautiful Galena territories. You will learn about horse equipment, how much these majestic creatures cost, and the daily needs of the animals.
Class size is small and very hands-on. The experience is perfect for the hands-on parent who would like to help their children tack up, or for someone who is interested in just having a good knowledge base about horses in general. The camp includes horseback riding.
Participation is limited, so sign up early to ensure your spot! Must be 18 or older to participate.
