Blue Lemonade

Ingredients
- 4 cups water divided
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 6 lemons zest and juice
- 1/2 cup blackberries
- 1/2 cup blueberries
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, heat 2 cups water with sugar over medium heat until sugar has dissolved. Continue to heat for 5 more minutes until it thickens.
- Add the remaining water and the lemon zest and juice. Set aside to cool to room temperature.
- In a blender or food processor, puree the blackberries and blueberries and add them to the water mixture. Sit at room temperature for 2 hours.
- Strain mixture into a pitcher and chill.
