Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 pound penne pasta
  • 6 strips bacon diced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into pieces
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Cook pasta, drain it, and set it aside.
  • Cook bacon and drain the grease, keeping a tablespoon of bacon drippings in the pan.
  • Add a tablespoon of butter to the bacon drippings, toss in chicken breast pieces and brown, about 4 to 5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  • Pour the ranch dressing mix and flour over the chicken, then add the milk. Stir until it is bubbly and thick.
  • Add the cheese and half of the diced bacon pieces to the pan. Stir until cheese is melted, combine the sauce and pasta together, add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Top dish with the remaining bacon pieces.
