Nitey-Nite Cookies
Ingredients:
4 egg whites
1 1/2 Cup sugar
2 Cups chopped nuts
2 Cups mini chocolate chips
Directions:
Beat egg whites, add sugar, beat again until peaked, stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F then turn off. Drop cookies by teaspoon on foil lined cookie sheet, leave in oven over night or about 8 hours…..don’t peak. Take out in the morning. Makes about 3 dozen

My grandma made these. I liked the name of the cookie and as a kid thought it was neat that they “slept ” in the oven over night.
