Tiger Butter

Ingredients:

1 lb. white chocolate
12 oz. creamy or chunky peanut butter
1 lb semi-sweet or dark chocolate – melted either in double boiler or microwave for a minute or two

Directions:

Combine white chocolate and peanut butter. Microwave three minutes stirring after each minute. Spread mixture on a waxed or parchment paper-lined jellyroll (15x10x1) pan. Pour melted chocolate over peanut butter and use knife to swirl designs down through the mixture. Do not spread the chocolate over….be creative with the knife swirling to resemble a tiger’s coat. Chill until firm and either cut or break into chunks. Keep refrigerated in air-tight container.

Rose Myers-Bradley

When my youngest daughter, Liz, was in high school, she and I would have candy making parties in December with 4 or 5 of her best friends. We would set up stations for different types of candies with instructions and the ingredients and the girls would work in teams of two or on their own. This was a favorite recipe that was easy and fun to make. Each girl would bring containers to take home the various candies that were made at the party.
