Savory Spiced Pecans

Ingredients:
1 lb. pecans (whole unsalted)
3 Tbs. melted butter
1/3 cup sugar
1 Tbs. Karo syrup (light)
1 tsp. vanilla
Spice Mix:
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. corriander
Directions:
Mix melted butter, sugar, Karo syrup and vanilla and set aside. Boil pecans in water for 1 minute, drain and pour in a large bowl. Stir in the butter mixture and toss until pecans are well coated. Place pecans on a non stick cookie sheet and leave uncovered overnight at room temperature.
Next morning, bake at 300 degrees for 40 minutes,stirring every 10 minutes. While pecans are baking, mix the spices together and set aside. Pour pecans in large bowl and toss with the spice mix, then lay on a cookie sheet to cool.
Pecans are delicious on their own as a appetizer, but can be added to a salad or even ice cream!!
