Homemade Hot Chocolate Mix
Submitted by Tammy Phoenix from Egyptian Electric Cooperative Association
Ingredients:
11 C. powdered milk
1 C. powdered sugar
11 ounces powdered coffee creamer
2 lbs. Nestle Nesquick powdered chocolate milk mix
4 TBSP. cocoa powder
4 ounces chocolate pudding mix (small box)
Marshmallow bits (optional)
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together. In order to get the hot chocolate mix to have a finer texture, blend the powder. Do this slowly, blending just one cup of powder at a time until it becomes a fine powder. If you put too much powder in the blender, it will not blend properly.
2. Store the mixture in an airtight container.
3. When making a cup of hot chocolate, use about 1/3 cup of powder per one cup of water or milk for a richer taste. Adjust to your liking,
4.This makes 16 cups of hot chocolate mix.
This would do nicely in jars for a homemade Christmas goody.
