Fresh Apple Cake

Ingredients
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups apples peeled and chopped
- 1 cup walnuts chopped
Frosting:
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 1 pound powdered sugar
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease and flour an 8X13-inch pan.
- Beat sugar, eggs and oil together with mixer until well blended. Mix in flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Fold in apples and walnuts.
- Pour into prepared pan. Bake 30-40 minutes, or until done.
- Blend all frosting ingredients together and spread on the cooled cake.
