Tomato Soup

Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh tomatoes chopped
- 1 onion chopped
- 2-3 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons margarine or butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1-2 teaspoons sugar
Instructions
- In a stock pot over medium heat, combine tomatoes, onion, Italian seasoning and broth. Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes to blend flavors.
- Remove from heat and run through a food mill. Discard what is left in the food mill.
- In a stock pot, melt margarine or butter and stir in flour until browned. Gradually whisk in the tomato mixture.
- Season with salt and sugar, to taste.
