Yum Yum Cake

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Topping:
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 1 cup pecans chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 F.
- In a medium bowl, cream butter with a hand mixer until soft. Add sugar and cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each.
- In a separate bowl, sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together.
- Add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream into the wet ingredients, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Stir in the vanilla.
- Pour half of the batter into a 9X9-inch baking pan. Cover with half of the topping. Pour remaining batter over the topping and sprinkle the rest of the nut mixture over the top.
- Bake for 40 minutes, or until done.
