Zippy Egg Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Italian Sausage fried and drained
  • 1 5.5 oz. croutons
  • 1-1/2 cup Cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Pepperjack cheese shredded
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 pint half and half
  • 1-1/2 cups milk
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1 Tablespoon dry minced onion
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a 9x13" baking dish, layer in following order: croutons, cheeses, sausage. Beat together half & half, eggs, milk and spices. Pour over the layered mixture. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake 45-60 minutes. Serve with fresh fruit or juice.
