Pecan Balls

Ingredients:

Pecan Balls
Grandma Jenneman
1 cup butter, 2 cups flour , 1 teaspoon vanilla,
6 tablespoons of powder sugar
MIX the above ingredients together well.
ADD 1 cup of chopped pecans and mix again.

Directions:

Roll into 1 inch balls and place on a un-greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 12 minutes. When cool roll in powdered sugar. Takes about 1/3 cup

My Grandma Jenneman made these cookies every Christmas, along with other cookies. However, she made these just the right size so us grand kids could snatch one of the cookies off of the cookie plate and pop into our mouth, before our parents told us to wait till after dinner. No child, wants to hear our parents telling us to wait till after dinner for treats especially at Christmas. They are my favorite Christmas Cookie, and to me her making them small showed me how much my grandma loved me.
