2015 Recipe Contest Submissions

Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies


1 and 1/2 cups (3sticks) butter softened, 1 and 1/4 cup sugar, 1 and 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 TBS vanilla, 2 eggs.
Dry Ingredients: 4 cups all-purpose flour, 2 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp salt, 1 pkg (24 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts.


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix butter, sugars, vanilla and eggs in large mixing bowl. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop dough by rounded teaspoon about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 13-16 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool slightly and remove from cookie sheet. Cool on a wire rack.
Enjoy with milk!
