Oreo Balls

Ingredients:

1 Package of Oreo Cookies (or other sandwich cookie)
1 Package Cream Cheese
White Chocolate Bark
Milk Chocolate Bark

Directions:

Separate the sandwich cookies, and scrape the cream into a separate large bowl. Place the cookies into a gallon-sized storage bag. After separating the whole package, close the storage bag and crush the cookie pieces until they are in fine-medium sized bits. In the bowl with the cream, add in the package of cream cheese and blend with a mixer. Slowly add the crushed cookie bits, mixing as you go. Melt one type of chocolate in a glass bowl. Form balls with the batter using a spoon, and drop the batter into the melted chocolate until coated. Drop onto wax paper. Complete until you run out of batter. Melt the other type of chocolate and drizzle onto the already covered balls. Once chocolate is set, remove from the wax paper and store in the refrigerator until you are ready to enjoy them. For added fun, use different flavors of sandwich cookies and different colored chocolates. You may also add sprinkles or mixed nuts while the drizzly chocolate is still wet. Enjoy!

TAMMY MURRAY

We love making these in my family because we can change the different types so that everyone has a flavor they enjoy. This is also a recipe that the kids can make that doesn’t require an oven or “super-hot” temperatures. We usually melt our chocolate in the microwave a brick at a time. I can remember making them with my cousin when I was little, and have passed the tradition on to my son, Michael.
