3 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
2 T. honey
1/2 c. water
2 large egg whites
Slowly bring to a boil the sugar, corn syrup, honey and water.
Add 1/2 the mixture to 2 large slightly beaten egg whites and beat to combine.
Cook remaining syrup to 250 degrees and add slowly into egg whites beating until almost stiff. Add 1 t. vanilla and chopped nuts and food coloring if desired.
It’s a sweet reminder of my childhood at home. Every Christmas we had home made divinity and I brought that into my home and family and friends love it.
