Aunt Frances’ Peanut Butter Balls


1 stick butter
2 cups crunchy peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c powdered sugar
3 cups rice krispies cereal
paraffin — small amount – half stick
12 oz semisweet chocolate chips


Melt butter.
Add: peanut butter & vanilla.
Stir above together and then add: powdered sugar and rice krispies.
Mix together using your hands.
Chill overnight.
Roll into 1 inch diameter balls. (Dip fingers into powdered sugar if needed to roll balls.)
Chills the balls.
Melt small amount of paraffin in double boiler.
Add chocolate chips and stir together well.
Dip the chilled balls into the chocolate. and drop on wax paper.
Cool in refrigerator overnight.
