2015 Recipe Contest Submissions

Toffee Bars


4 sticks salted butter
2 cups sugar
1 bag Chocolate Chips
Small bag Slivered Almonds


Melt butter in saucepan
Add Sugar
Stir constantly on medium heat until mixture turns a dark caramel color.
Add 1/2 Bag of Almonds
Spread into cookie sheet
Place chocolate chips on top and spread
Sprinkle remaining almonds on top

Place in freezer for 15 minutes
Flip cookie sheet over and break into bite size pieces

Taste like a Heath Bar.


I like making them because they are my husband’s favorite!!
