Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta

Ingredients
- 1 pound penne pasta
- 6 strips bacon diced
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into pieces
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Cook pasta, drain it, and set it aside.
- Cook bacon and drain the grease, keeping a tablespoon of bacon drippings in the pan.
- Add a tablespoon of butter to the bacon drippings, toss in chicken breast pieces and brown, about 4 to 5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
- Pour the ranch dressing mix and flour over the chicken, then add the milk. Stir until it is bubbly and thick.
- Add the cheese and half of the diced bacon pieces to the pan. Stir until cheese is melted, combine the sauce and pasta together, add salt and pepper to taste.
- Top dish with the remaining bacon pieces.
