Apple Sausage Breakfast Ring

Ingredients
- 2 pounds lean sausage
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1-1/2 cups Ritz crackers crushed
- 1 cup apple peeled and grated
- 1/2 cup minced onion
- 1/4 cup milk
Instructions
- Line a 2-1/2-quart ring mold with plastic wrap. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Press firmly into the mold and chill overnight. In the morning, preheat the oven to 350 F. Remove the breakfast ring from the mold onto a greased baking sheet with raised edges. Remove plastic wrap and bake for 1 hour. Transfer to a serving platter. Fill the center with scrambled eggs or warm applesauce.
