1 1/2 cups butter, 1 cup sugar, 1 egg, 1 t vanilla extract, 1/2 t almond extract,
4 cups flour,1 t baking powder
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg, vanilla, and almond extract. Beat well. Sift flour and baking powder. Add gradually to creamed mixture, mix to smooth dough. Do not chill the dough. Force through cookie press onto a ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees about 8 minutes. Makes 6 dozen cookies. Cool cookies sheets between batches. Tint and or sprinkle before baking.

Grand children get involved pressing out different colors of different shapes and putting on the sprinkles of different colors. And the size is bite size. Kids can eat all the different sizes and shapes after cooling. We usually make 3 batches of different colors so they can take some home.
