Help is on the way for qualified households in Illinois who are behind on rent due to the COVID-19 pandemic! Starting this month, landlords will be able to initiate an application for a grant of up to $20,000 per household (covering May 2020 – July 2021), through the State of Illinois’ new Rental Payment Program. If approved, the tenant’s grant will be paid directly to
their landlord.
