Tyler Finegan has been elected to the board of directors of the National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation (CFC). Finegan has served on the Eastern Illini Electric Cooperative board since 2019 and represents the co-op on the Association of Illinois Electric Cooperatives board.
Finegan, a resident of Ashkum, was elected Sept. 22 during CFC’s Districts 5 and 6 meeting in Minneapolis, Minn. He will represent District 5, which includes Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin, and will serve a three-year term beginning after CFC’s annual meeting in June 2027.
CFC is a member-owned financial cooperative that provides financing and other financial services to electric cooperatives nationwide.
