Honor flight accepting applications

The Land of Lincoln Honor Flight (LLHF) is accepting applications from veterans to see the memorials and monuments in Washington, DC. LLHF has a mission to provide round trip transportation and accommodations from Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport in Springfield for any veteran, who is willing and able to fly, in order of their service. This day trip is completely free of charge to the veteran in honor of his/her service to our country. Trained volunteer guardians provide assistance and accompany the veterans every step of the way.

LLHF gives priority exceptions to any veteran who has a certified terminal illness and is able to fly. This includes soldiers through the latest war eras.
