Nectarine Cobbler

  • 1 stick butter


  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk


  • 4 cups peeled sliced nectarines
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon


  • Preheat oven to 350 F. Prepare filling by placing filling ingredients in medium saucepan on medium heat and stir consistently for 15 minutes or until liquid thickens. Melt butter in an 11x13-inch baking dish. In small bowl, mix together batter ingredients until smooth. Pour batter on top of melted butter and do not mix. Place filling in center of batter. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until center is cooked. Serve with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.
