Touchstone Energy® cooperative employees assist low-income homeowners

It has become a tradition for Touchstone Energy Cooperative volunteers from across the country to join forces once a year during the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association’s annual meeting to repair and rebuild local homes in the meeting’s host city. Pictured here is Nancy McDonald, the Regional Representative for Illinois, who joined 120 other volunteers from across Illinois and the country to rehab five homes in Encanto, Cal.

“Touchstone Energy cooperatives’ commitment to the communities they serve is truly what makes them different. The outpouring of dedicated volunteers proves the strength of the national network of Touchstone Energy cooperatives. We appreciate the dedicated electric cooperative volunteers and are looking forward to working with them and RTSD to give back to the area,” said Mary McLaury, Touchstone Energy Chief Operating Officer.
